TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Subscribers to Smart Auto mobile messaging program have opted-in to receive text messages from Smart Auto concerning used vehicle sales, service, parts, warranty, recall notices, surveys, reminders and other automotive-related promotions.

Subscribers expressed an interest in receiving text messages when they called or visited the dealership or website. Subscribers only receive text messages from the automotive sales or service center to which they opted-in and the messages are only concerning the messages of interest.

All messages sent to subscribers are standard rate text messages. Message fees may apply, based on the type of text messaging program the subscriber has with his or her carrier. There are no additional fees assessed by Smart Auto or the providers of the text messaging service. 

HOW TO OPT-IN: 

When you call or visit one of our stores you may be asked if you would like to receive text messages concerning used vehicles, your vehicle’s needs or targeted promotions. If you agree verbally or in writing to receive text messages, you will then be sent a text message requesting you confirm your desire to opt-in to this text alert system by responding “YES” to the message. You will then receive a message from Smart Auto confirming you have opted in and providing you with contact and opt-out information.

You may also Opt-In electronically by submitting a text message to a Smart Auto that contains the Keyword STOP or by completing a form online that includes your mobile number and clearly states your interest in Opting-In to text messaging. Upon texting in the Keyword or completing the Opt-In form online, you will then receive a message from Smart Auto confirming you have opted in and providing you with contact and opt-out information.

We may send you an opt-in confirmation alert shortly. If you fail to respond to that alert, or if your carrier does not permit these alerts, you may not receive Smart Auto alerts. 

HOW TO OPT-OUT: 

To opt-out from our text system you can text “STOP” to 865-290-7364 or 865-268-8778 from your mobile phone and you will automatically be unsubscribed from our service. You will not receive any additional messages until such time you opt-in again at one of our stores or websites. 

WARRANTY

Smart Auto will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages connected with this program. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider/network operator.

PRIVACY POLICY

Smart Auto respects your privacy. We will not share or use your mobile number for any other purpose. We will only use information you provide to transmit your text message. Nonetheless, we reserve the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property. When you complete forms online or otherwise provide us information in connection with the Service, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and true information. You agree not to use a false or misleading name or a name that you are not authorized to use. If we, in our sole discretion, believe that any such information is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, we may refuse you access to the Service and pursue any appropriate legal remedies.
